Q:
Is there anyway to achieve increased performance and still maintain the factory sound?

A:
No. In order to gain the performance benefits of any performance muffler the vehicle sound will change. However there are many different options for maintaining a lower more muted performance sound. One way to accomplish this is by installing an Aero Exhaust resonator in conjunction with the Aero Exhaust muffler, you will achieve optimum performance while still enjoying a more muted sound.

Q:
What is so different about Aero Exhaust muffler technology?

A:
Airflow! While Aero Exhaust mufflers offer significant advantages over competing mufflers, such as increased horsepower, torque, and fuel economy as well as lower temperatures, the source of these benefits comes down to airflow. After more than three years of research in the aerodynamics of exhaust gases, we have developed the most technologically advanced muffler available. The Aero Exhaust uses the same basic design and technique as a jet engine. By diverting slower moving outside air around the faster moving inside air, it creates a vortex that dramatically reduces the exhaust backpressure. The outer air stream further acts as an insulator dampening the sound and lowering the exhaust tone. The Aero Exhaust also spools up the turbo faster, when one is available, because of the reduced backpressure created by the turbine, thereby further increasing the vehicles performance.

Q:
Where can I purchase an Aero Exhaust muffler?

A:
You can purchase the Aero Exhaust muffler at most high performance auto shops and muffler retail shops in the US and Canada. You can use our Dealer Locator to find the Factory Authorized Dealer nearest you. You can also purchase direct from our Exhaust Products page or you can call us at 1-877-266-5356.

Q:
Is there an Aero Exhaust muffler that fits my vehicle?

A:
Absolutely. We have a model for every standard stock exhaust pipe size on the market. If your exhaust pipes are of a non-standard size, our Factory Authorized Dealers can easily adapt your pipes for a proper fit. Please visit our online Application Guide to look up your vehicle.

Q:
 Are Aero Exhaust mufflers Legal?

A:
YES, all of our mufflers are legal in all 50 states. It should be noted, however, that when used in conjunction with other products (such as air intake systems or exhaust headers), the overall combined effect might cause some vehicles to exceed allowable sound limits. Please consult your State or local vehicle code for specific use information.

Q:
Will the sound change inside the vehicle?

A:
Yes, nearly every vehicle using an Aero Exhaust muffler will experience a lower tone change over the stock exhaust; some vehicles may be slightly louder depending on the make and model. Almost every customer has commented on how much they love the smooth low-tone produced by the Aero Exhaust.

Q:
Is there anyway to achieve increased performance and still maintain the stock-like sound with the Aero Exhaust muffler?

A:
Yes. By installing an Aero Exhaust resonator in conjunction with the Aero Exhaust muffler, you will achieve optimum performance while still enjoying a sound very close to stock. However, please note that on some vehicles the tone will be quite different from that of stock.

Q:
What material is the Aero Exhaust muffler made of?

A:
All Aero Exhaust mufflers are manufactured using the highest quality welded 304-polished stainless steel inside & out. Every component of the Aero Exhaust is completely stainless steel. There is no fiberglass or steel packing to corrode or burnout, or baffles to rust or displace. The Aero Exhaust is truly a lifetime product.

Q:
Is there a warranty on Aero Exhaust mufflers?

A:
Every Aero Exhaust muffler is covered by our Manufacturers Lifetime Warranty. Aero Exhaust warrants that all Aero Exhaust Mufflers are free from defects. The mufflers are warranted against blowouts and defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed. The warranty is void if the muffler is not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed. Installation on any commercial or racing vehicle or improper installation, altered mufflers, or products subjected to misuse or damage from accidents, voids the Aero Exhaust Warranty. Also, cost of labor and any additional parts required to complete installation of a replacement muffler are not covered by this warranty. The warranty certificate, along with proof of purchase, must be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the muffler, or any participating dealer, when making a claim for replacement. The original muffler must also be returned and exchanged for a new muffler of the same part number. No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability), applies to the mufflers, nor is any person or the manufacturer authorized to assume any other warranty. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occasioned by the muffler, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Q:
What is so different about Aero Exhaust muffler technology?

A:
While Aero Exhaust mufflers offer significant advantages over competing mufflers, such as increased horsepower, torque, and fuel economy as well as lower temperatures, the source of these benefits comes down to airflow. After over three years of research in the aerodynamics of exhaust gases, we have developed the most technologically advanced muffler available. The Aero Exhaust uses the same basic design and technique as a jet engine. By diverting slower moving outside air around the faster moving inside air, it creates a vortex that literally pulls the air off the head and out of the exhaust. The outer air stream further acts as an insulator dampening the sound and lowering the exhaust tone. The Aero Exhaust also spools up the turbo faster, when one is available, because of the vacuum effect created by the turbine, thereby further increasing the vehicles performance.
