The Aero Turbine Series 4040 is a 4" i.d. inlet, 4" i.d. outlet Diesel Exhaust Muffler. The 4040 was designed for high-output engines, including diesel trucks and gas engines with 4 inch piping. It is the original Aero Exhaust design. The 4040 was first designed for the racecar circuit. It was proven on both the 600hp Monte Carlos of NASCAR, and the 800hp Sprint car races in Arizona. With feedback from the race circuit being as strong as it was, the 4040 was then manufactured for introduction to the general public as the Aero Performance Exhaust´s Aero Turbine Series Performance Diesel muffler. As the only muffler to have the patented airfoil technology, the 4040 is the hottest new product on the performance Diesel market.

By design, the 4040 is versatile enough to be applied to every American made passenger diesel truck, regardless of the make, model, or year. The 4040 has been successfully applied and tested on nearly every year, make and model of Diesel truck on the market including the Ford Power Stroke, Chevy and GMC Duramax, and Dodge Cummins. The 3 1/2" exhaust pipe standard on most Diesel trucks can easily be bumped up to 4" or replaced with a full 4" exhaust pipe system. The length of the 4040 muffler allows for dual inline mufflers to be placed on the Diesel vehicles as well. Dual inline Aero Exhausts will actually increase airflow and performance, while dropping the Exhaust Gas Temperature even further than a single muffler system, which is directly contradictory to the performance you will see from any other competing muffler product. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product you purchase from Aero Performance Exhaust or an Aero Performance Exhaust Official Dealer, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund or in-store credit. Returned items must be in "working" condition, with all original parts, accessories, manuals, etc., and must be re-packaged in the original retail box. If any of these items are missing, you will be charged at least a 20% re-stocking fee.

To return an item, you must contact Aero Performance Exhaust via phone or email within 30 days of purchase to obtain a Return Authorization Number. You must ship returns via a courier that provides tracking, and provide Aero with the tracking number. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning merchandise to us. If a returned item is lost or destroyed in transit, your account will not be credited for the return, and you will be responsible for obtaining reimbursement from the courier. We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from the courier for returned items. Premium shipping (next day, 2nd day, etc) charges are non-refundable. Products purchased for race use are excluded. Special order items are excluded.

Aero Performance Exhaust Lifetime Warranty

Aero Performance Exhaust warrants that all Aero Performance Exhaust Mufflers are free from defects. The mufflers are warranted against blowouts and defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed. The warranty is void if the muffler is not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed.

Installation on any commercial or racing vehicle or improper installation, altered mufflers, or products subjected to misuse or damage from accidents, voids the Aero Exhaust Warranty. Also, cost of labor and any additional parts required to complete installation of a replacement muffler are not covered by this warranty.

The warranty certificate, along with proof of purchase, must be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the muffler, or any participating dealer, when making a claim for replacement. The original muffler must also be returned and exchanged for a new muffler of the same part number.

No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability, sound, or usability), applies to the mufflers, nor is any person or the manufacturer authorized to assume any other warranty. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occasioned by the muffler, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
